Tips that would make your essay

published in the magazine:

• • Be interesting

  • Write examples that kids your age could relate to

• Make sure it’s clear and easy to understand

• Examples don’t have to be real. You could make it up

• You want someone who would read your essay, get inspired and learn a lesson

  • The essay should not be longer than a half a page

  • It’s hard to get it right the first time. Write the first draft, look it over, and then write the final one.

  • Give it to a friend next to you to read and ask him what he thinks about it

• Focus on positive examples
